Being the only Spanish winery that has received the SuperBrands award, Protos was recognized as one of the most prestigious brands in Spain. This award, which is considered internationally as the ‘Oscars of Branding’, means achieving the status ‘Superbrands’, which is a synonym of mark of excellence.
Superbrands consists of a group of experts and consumers that select outstanding Spanish companies on the basis of the excellence of their brand.
The excellence of Protos has been recognized by the organization Superbrands. They select and award 350 brands in more than 80 countries in the field of branding. Coca-Cola, FC Barcelona, Central Lechera Asturiana, Google or Repsol are some examples of the selected brands of 2011, among more than 1,000 candidates. The selection process of Superbrands 2011 relied on a committee of experts comprising a selection of reputable professionals related to the marketing and branding world. They work in prestigious companies, business associations, universities, business schools and publications on the sector.
The committee of experts made a list of 350 finalist brands that were assessed by more than 3,000 consumers. Among them we should highlight Protos as the only winery awarded with Superbrands, a synonym of consolidation in the market, quality assurance and confidence for consumers.
